OK, I'm into faires...and elves, wizards, dragons and all that. If you don't believe in fairies what is there to dream about?

If we could fly like fairy’s can, up there in the sky
Watching all the dew dry off with a watchful eye…
Then we could fly down to the grass and take a little rest…
And never be afraid to dream along with all the rest.
We’d dream of love and silly things and dragons’ tails and tales,
Smiling as we rode without a saddle on the snails.
And when the sunshine on our pointed ears awakens us from dreams,
Off we dash, fly away, our fairy wings now gleam.

We had a baby shower a few months ago for my sister in law. I was in charge of the invitations. I made them all by hand and this was the poem inside one of the designs. I thought it was pretty good.

For a Little Boy

Cowboys and Indians,
Army men too...
little red wagons
and a train or two.

Cars and trucks,
bugs and trees...
wearing out the denim
on your little knees.

Little Boys are special
on that we can all agree...
our little one will be here soon
for all of us to see!
